Session #3

The Week is a unique, informative, and potentially profound group experience to discuss our warming planet, and what we can actually do about it. Too often the issue of climate change feels abstract and overwhelming. The Week is a way to engage this issue in a supportive way that acknowledges our many different feelings, with friends and neighbors. The Week doesn’t tell us what to do or think, but empowers us to make up our own minds.

Medfielders who have participated in The Week highly recommend this program, even if climate change documentaries/discussions are not usually your cup of tea! It is not about recommending a particular policy solution at all, but instead focuses on our humanity and the wide variety of feelings that people experience on this issue.

The group will view three 1-hour documentary films over the course of one week, and spend about 30 minutes after each viewing to have a guided conversation.

Dates: Tuesday, May 5th; Thursday, May 7th; and Tuesday, May 12th from 6-7:30 p.m.
Please plan on attending all three sessions, if you can, so you get the most out of this experience.
Sessions will be held in the Conference Room of the Medfield Public Library
