A year ago we installed solar and a 4 ton heat pump and today received the first electric bill in a year. It is $45.46, 100% renewable through Medfield Community Electric, https://electricity.medfield.net/ . I note that a resident can opt in to Medfield 100 for less than Eversource Basic. Over the past year we also paid $393 for gas, which heats our hot water and radiant heat floors. We are enroute to a 4 1/2 year payback period. Our credit card company let us charge it, too, giving us points.
